Report: NFL never asked casino for video of Ray Rice elevator assault.

The NFL never asked Revel Casino for the elevator security tape that showed Ray Rice knocking out his future wife, TMZ reported Tuesday, citing sources.

The casino would have given a copy of the tape to the NFL, sources said, as it gave copies to the police and Rice's lawyer. But the league didn't ask for it.

So when Commissioner Roger Goodell handed Rice a two-game suspension, it was without seeing the video, TMZ reports, and based on the statement released by Rice and his then-fiancee, Janay Palmer, that both of them were involved in the physical altercation. - Read more

Doctors and nurses at Florida Hospital Flagler figured out effectively enough that the 3-year-old boy’s arm they were treating hadn’t just broken. It had broken at least two days before the child’s mother and her boyfriend brought the boy to the emergency room in late September. PALM COAST -- A Flagler County man is under arrest for child abuse after deputies said he caused injuries that left a child in critical condition.  The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday deputies were called to Florida Hospital Flagler after Stanley Wykretowicz, 38, of Palm Coast brought a 2‐year‐old girl to the hospital emergency room who was unresponsive and had bruising on her body from head to toe. - Read more

Sanford mom charged with 2-year-old daughter's murder

SANFORD -- The Seminole County woman accused of burying her child's body in Putnam County has been charged with the child's murder.  Sanford Police said Rachel Fryer admitted to burying her dead child, 2-year-old Tariji Gordon, in a shallow grave in Crescent City earlier this month.  At the time, Fryer was charged with aggravated child abuse. - Read more
